Tie Dye Ring Sling
Ready to post ring sling
Dyed by The Hippie Dyer, ring sling-ified by Geeky Baby.
100% organic cotton wrap fabric.
The broken twill cloth is incredibly supple and strong. (Colimaçon & Cie).
Fabric weight: 220 grams/㎡ 75 cm wide.
OOAK kind dyes.
All the dyed items that you see at All the Small Things are hand dyed by myself, and because of this, they are all one of a kind items (though designs may be similar).
Due to the nature of the dyeing, there will be colour mixing, occasional colour transfer where i’m not expecting it and colour variation.
If you are wanting something ‘perfect’, tie dye may not be for you.
All the dyes I use are Procion MX. These dyes are classed as fibre reactive dyes which are the most permanent of all dye types.
Unlike other dyes, it actually forms a covalent bond with the cellulose or protein molecule.
Once the bond is formed, what you have is one molecule, as the dye molecule has become an actual part of the cellulose fiber molecule.
This also means that the rest of your washing is safe from the wonderful colours that you can get.
